Anisha Rai - Textile designer 

I specialising in embroidery and most often I tend to focus on forms aesthetically inspired by nature, as it is something present in my cultural patterns. These ideas are realised using a range of textile processes, such as print, knit, hand and digital embroidery.

Though I use several processes my main passion is hand embroidery. As it allows me to create detailed designs using processes that requires patience’s and skill, such as tambour beading, appliqué, fraying and stump work.

I am eager to learn more traditional and innovative embroidery techniques.
